Stillwater Composite Squadron
What is the Civil Air Patrol?
You’ve found America’s best-kept secret and brightest orange, right here in Stillwater, OK. The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a congressionally chartered, federally supported non-profit corporation that serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force (USAF). CAP is a volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations.
Here in the Stillwater Composite Squadron, we strive for excellence in all we do, and we welcome any patron from the age 12 and up to serve with our squadron for your city, state, and nation.
At our Squadron, we’re proud to be part of CAP’s Oklahoma Wing.
We are patriots aged 12 and up — A vital force that protects Americans in need by responding to disasters. We preserve the values that make our country great by developing young leaders as part of our Cadet Program, helping to ensure our country’s preeminence in aviation through our Aerospace Education program and providing useful services to the Air Force as part of our Emergency Services mission. If you want to know more, you can read about CAP’s complete history online here.
